Personal Data Protection Notice
This notice has been prepared under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 ("KVKK").
Data controller
The data controller of this website is the law office whose details appear on the contact page.
Personal data processed
No personal data is processed if you merely browse the site. If you complete the contact form, the following data is processed:
- Name and surname
- E-mail address
- Telephone number (if provided)
- Subject and content of your message
- Connection data (IP address, browser information) and time of submission
Additional cookies for visit statistics are used only with your explicit consent; if you do not consent, this data is not collected.
Purpose of processing
Your data is processed solely to respond to your enquiry and, where necessary, to comply with legal obligations. It is not used for marketing purposes and is not sold to third parties.
Legal basis
Data submitted through the contact form is based on your explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1); records required by legal obligations are based on their being expressly provided for by law (KVKK art. 5/2-a).
Transfer
Your data is not transferred abroad. It is not shared with third parties other than the hosting provider used for the site infrastructure; it may be transferred to competent public authorities upon a lawful request.
Retention period
Contact form records are retained for a maximum of two years after the enquiry is concluded and are then deleted. Where an attorney-client relationship is established, the periods provided by the Attorneyship Law and related legislation apply.
Duty of confidentiality
An attorney's duty of confidentiality is set out in Article 36 of the Attorneyship Law. Information conveyed to the office falls within the scope of this duty.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been, to learn the purpose of processing, to request correction if incomplete or inaccurate, to request erasure or destruction, to object to processing, and to claim compensation for damage suffered.
To exercise these rights you may apply in writing to the e-mail address or office address given on the contact page. Your application will be concluded within thirty days at the latest.
Important notice
The contact form is not a suitable channel for highly confidential documents and information. We recommend sharing detailed information about your matter in a direct meeting rather than through the form. Correspondence via the form does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.
