Justice began when it was first put in writing.

The 282 articles carved into a stone stele in Babylon around 1750 BC were the first known written laws in history. Until then, justice depended on whom you happened to face. With the Code of Hammurabi the rule became a text anyone could read. The name of the office points to that moment.

What we do today is in essence the same: turning a right into writing, and writing into a result.

Working approach

A file is understood together with the person. A legal matter considered apart from the life of the person living it remains incomplete. The first meeting is therefore one in which the situation is listened to as carefully as the documents are read.

The process is explained from the outset. Which stages will be gone through, how long it may take, what costs will arise and what the possibilities are — all of this is discussed at the beginning. Managing expectations matters as much as the process itself.

Not every road is litigation. In some files the best outcome is reached without ever going to court. Mediation, settlement and negotiation options are considered before an action is filed.

No outcome is guaranteed. The result of proceedings depends on the state of the evidence, the concrete circumstances and the discretion of the court. No guarantee of outcome is given at any stage; giving one would breach professional rules.
